Welcome to Barrington!

Our team at the QB is excited to welcome our auto expert, author, and good friend Matt Avery to Barrington. Matt and his wife, Becca, will be moving to their new Barrington home this month. We look forward to calling them neighbors and seeing them around town at the many wonderful events this summer like Cruise Nights, the Farmers Markets, and more.

Our regular column, In The Garage, is Matt’s domain. He features luxury cars in each issue and is now expanding to include other fun and interesting vehicles. If you have a cool car you’d like us to consider, please reach out!

Matt is the author “COPO: Chevrolet’s Ultimate Muscle Cars” which offers excellent content with great attention to detail on each car, and great photos of the cars featured inside the book. COPO is short for Central Office Production Order, but those who love the muscle car era might already have known that! You can follow Matt on social media @themattavery.

Barrington is also home to Jacey Johnson, our very own Miss Illinois, who leads the way for our fun summer issue. This amazing Barrington High School graduate shares her journey of wearing the crown, what inspires her, and offers thoughts of leadership for the next generation. We know you’ll enjoy her words.
