The 12th annual LeCompte/Kalaway Trail Owners Cup, a round robin match with three teams, and the Battle of the Sexes matches took place on Saturday, September 10, in beautiful Barrington Hills, bringing nearly 2,000 guests to the polo field. Spectators and sponsors enjoyed the excitement of watching five polo teams compete in two matches. The Barrington Hills Polo Club is the largest polo organization in the Midwest, and the only one to have its own polo school.

This year, the event had team sponsors Miseracordia, Shakou Barrington, Field’s Land Rover of Northfield, the Mike Harrington Family, and Barrington Hills Polo. The winning team for Battle of the Sexes was the Miseracordia ladies team. The Barrington Hills Polo round robin team won the LeCompte/Kalaway Trail Owners Cup match.
